Number of people seen reading Harry Potter so far this week: Five.
Two on subways, and three at the gym.

I grinned really big at all of them.  Didn't spoil a word. 
Also, I think one of the gym-readers might become a client!  I used HP7 as an entry point to chat and.... we'll see! 
(Because someone other than JKR ought to make money off HP...)

the Star-Ledger, like pretty much every other media engine I can think of, did a lot of pre-book-seven contests and articles and general Pottermania.  Including a last-paragraph contest, based on the information that the last word in the book was "scar."

For those who haven't finished Harry Potter- we salute you.   Also- once you're in the second half of the book, plan not to move for however long it takes to finish.  By the end, you will have been swept up in what happens, and emerge, dazedly, wondering why you do not have a wand, or school robes.  Plan accordingly.
